Erdogmus Inducted as Honorary Director of Electronic Systems at Hanscom Air Force Base
ECE Distinguished Professor Deniz Erdogmus was officially inducted as the Honorary Director of Electronic Systems during a special ceremony at Hanscom Air Force Base. Part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, the Electronic Systems Directorate delivers advanced sensing, airspace management, and electronic warfare capabilities critical to military operations.
In this three-year appointment, Erdogmus will partner with Lea Kirkwood, program executive officer of the directorate, to serve as a vital liaison between the Air Force unit and the broader research, academic, and industrial communities. Selections for the prestigious civic leader program are based on regional connections and professional expertise.
