“Start Smart: Foundations of Evidence Synthesis” is a hands-on virtual workshop series on conducting evidence syntheses, such as systematic reviews. 

As part of the workshop series, participants will select an appropriate methodology for their research question, compose a protocol, build a systematic search strategy, and prepare to begin screening articles. 

The intended audience includes faculty, staff researchers, postdocs, and graduate students.

The workshop series is composed of 5 one-hour-length virtual sessions on the following dates, all at 11 AM Eastern time:

  • September 22nd: Evidence Synthesis Types & Tips for a Successful Project 
  • September 29th: Protocols & Planning 
  • October 6th: Methods & Automation  
  • October 27th: Searching 
  • November 17th: Covidence & Beyond
