COE Partner in Excellence Award
The COE Partner in Excellence Award acknowledges a faculty or staff member working outside of the College of Engineering who has provided instrumental support in one or more of the College’s endeavors. The award will honor a member of the Northeastern community who has demonstrated exceptional service beyond their own college or institute.
Eligibility
- All faculty and staff outside of the College of Engineering are eligible.
- Past recipients are not eligible for a period of five years after receiving the award.
Qualifications
- A member of the Northeastern community who has demonstrated exceptional service beyond their own college or institute and who has strengthened our culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- The award will be based on demonstrated service in support of a specific project, event, and/or other similar endeavor led in part or exclusively by the College of Engineering.
Nomination and Selection Process
- Nominations may be initiated by any College of Engineering faculty or staff member. All materials will be sent to the appropriate Awards Committee for evaluation.
- A committee will be appointed by the Dean of Engineering to select award recipients.
- The nomination packet should consist of ONE pdf file submitted through the Nomination Form (multiple submissions for the same nomination will not be accepted) containing the following:
- one letter of nomination including the names of the nominator(s) and the nominee which should include the rationale for the nomination and pertinent accomplishments; the letter will be preferably one page and a maximum of two pages in length;
- a maximum of two letters of support from current or former students and/or Engineering colleagues.
- faculty nominee’s most recent resume or CV (not required for staff nominees).
- any supporting documents that demonstrate the nominee’s outstanding support of the College of Engineering and its endeavors.
