Brain Controlled Flight Simulater
A team of ECE capstone students, supervised by Associate Professor Waleed Meleis and Assistant Professor Deniz Erdogmus, created a system to fly the simulated plane in FlightGear using a person’s brainwaves.

Generating Environmentally Friendly Power
Professor Emeritus Alexander Gorlov has been nominated for the 2011 European Inventor Award for his invention of the enviromentally friendly Gorlov Helical Turbine. The winner will be announced on May 19 in Budapest, Hungary.
