ChE Students Chris Meehan and Michael Parrish win Northeastern’s PEAK Ascent Award

Chris Meehan, a chemical engineering undergraduate student, and Michael Parrish, a bioengineering undergraduate student, both working in the laboratory of ChE Assistant Professor Sidi A. Bencherif, were recently awarded Northeastern’s PEAK Ascent awards. A new program, the PEAK Experiences Awards are a progressively structured sequence of opportunities designed to support learners as they continue climbing to new heights of achievement in undergraduate research and creative endeavor throughout their Northeastern journeys.

This award will support Chris’s project titled, “Engineering Apyrase modified Cryogels for the Suppression of T cell mediated Immune Responses.”

Michael Parrish

This award will support Michael’s project titled, “Unlocking the full potential of cryogel based cancer vaccines by encapsulating CpG ODN with lipoaminoglycosides”.
