Global Strategic Partnership Forged to Advance Robotic Technology
ECE Assistant Professor Alireza Ramezani is collaborating on a $3M project with Caltech as part of a cross-disciplinary collaboration focused on the design and control of multi-modal robots. This collaboration aims to address the critical areas of disaster response and package delivery within the framework of a multi-million dollar project funded by the Technology Innovation Institute of Abu Dhabi in Dubai. Caltech’s Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies (CAST), led by Mory Gharib, and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, forged an agreement to initiate a global strategic partnership for collaborative research priorities in 2022.
