Hands-On Learning
MIE Assistant Professor Rifat Sipahi and Associate Professor Nader Jalili have recently received a $40,000 grant from MathWorks entitled “A New Hands-on Mechatronics Course in Emerging Engineering Fields”. The grant will be used to develop new hands-on undergraduate teaching curriculum covering utilization of mechatronic systems and MathWorks products in real-life problems ranging from energy systems and bioengineering to biomedical devices and sustainability.
