Hertz Wins Best Paper Award at ASEE 2019

Associate Teaching Professor Joshua HertzĀ and BS/MSĀ student in Mechanical Engineering Noah Daviero received a Best Paper Award (2nd Place) at the 2019 American Society for Engineering Education annual conference in Tampa, FL. Their paper, entitled “We Own This: A Class Patent System as Experiential Learning,” was presented in a Best Papers session of the First Year Programs division. The paper presented a pedagogical study on a semester-long experiential learning activity created by Hertz.
