Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor Kevin Fu is featured in “It’s Possible to Extract Audio from a Still, Soundless Image, an article in IFLScience, a United Kingdom-based science website that is a part of the Canadian-based LabX Media Group. Fu developed a machine learning tool called Side Eye that can extract audio from pictures and even muted videos. Fu’s work was also featured in Scripps News.
