New Faculty Spotlight: Sunil Mittal
Sunil Mittal joins the Electrical and Computer Engineering department in August 2021 as an Assistant Professor.
Sunil Mittal received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park. Thereafter, he continued at Maryland as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Joint Quantum Institute. He also holds two Master’s degrees in Physics and Optoelectronics, and spent two years in the industry working on optical telecommunication products. His research interests span quantum and nonlinear photonics, topological and non-Hermitian physics, and two-dimensional materials.
