NSF-sponsored US-Finland collaboration meeting held at Northeastern

The Wireless Innovation between Finland and U.S. (WiFiUS) program provides a platform for building long-term research and education collaboration between the two world leaders in the field of wireless networking. ECE Associate Professor Kaushik Chowdhury, coordinator for the WiFiUS program, organized a PI meeting at Northeastern, with 10 projects currently funded on the theme of Internet of Things (IOT). NSF program directors and participants from both US and Finland were in attendance, leading to presentations and brainstorming sessions on the future of IOT. This program is supported by the US NSF and the Academy of Finland.
