NUASCE Student Chapter Works with Habitat for Humanity

On Sunday, December 4th, 2011, Northeastern University's American Society of Civil Engineers (NUASCE) Student Chapter worked with Habitat for Humanity on a project in Roslindale, Massachusetts. The Northeastern team of students and advisors assisted Habitat for Humanity on refurbishment of a home by removing load-bearing walls, increasing the bearing capacity of the floor joists for the first and second floor, and providing additional structural support on gabled ends of a newly constructed bedroom. Congratulations to team leader Greg Sands and the other members of the team for this outstanding community service project.
