Padir Appointed an Editor for IEEE ICRA Robotics Research Conference

ECE Associate Professor Taskin Padir has been appointed an Editor for the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation for a three-year term. ICRA 2020 is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s flagship conference and the premier international forum for robotics researchers to present and discuss their work. Established in 1984 and held annually, the conference joins experts in the field of robotics and automation for technical communications through presentations and discussions. The conference creates a remarkable environment to indulge all the delegates in the frontier of science and technology in robotics and automation. Padir will oversee submissions in the areas of intelligent and flexible Manufacturing, grasping, human-centered automation, human-centered robotics, humanoid and bipedal locomotion, humanoid robots, physically assistive devices, prosthetics and exoskeletons. The 2020 conference will be held from 31 May to 4 June 2020 at The Palais des congrès de Paris in Paris, France. The conference will include plenary, keynote and award nominee presentations, contributed paper interactive sessions, workshops, tutorials, robotics & art exhibition, and forums.
