PhD Students Contribute to Boston Area Climate Change Impact Report

A new research report published by The Greater Boston Research Advisory Group (G-BRAG), titled “Climate Change Impacts and Projections for the Greater Boston Area”, describes how climate change will impact the Boston area. Findings were highlighted in the Boston Globe. Northeastern University PhD engineering students and alumni contributed to the research report; at the time of the research, all were current PhD students or alumni who conducted research in Professor Auroop Ganguly’s Sustainability and Data Sciences Lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northeastern University. Alumnus Evan Kodra, PhD interdisciplinary engineering, led the temperature extremes section with then engineering PhD students Kate Duffy and Mary (Lizzy) Warner who contributed to that section.
