Professor Bradley Lehman Named 2015 IEEE Power Electronics Society Awardee

ECE Professor Bradley Lehman has been awarded the 2015 IEEE Power Electronics Society's Modeling and Control Technical Achievement Award.

According to the IEEE, Professor Lehman was honored for his contribution in modeling and control of dc-dc converters and solid-state lighting. The award, established in 2012, was created to honor innovators and researchers who have made outstanding and sustained technical contributions to the advancement of power electronics in the area of modeling and control.

A professor in Northeastern’s Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Bradley Lehman was a Hearin Hess Distinguished Assistant Professor at Mississippi State University. He was also previously an NSF Presidential Faculty Fellow. He was a recipient of an Alcoa Science Foundation Fellowship and formerly was a visiting scientist at MIT.
