Roxbury Robotics is a community outreach program for students trying to connect with the community around Northeastern University.

Roxbury Robotics is a community outreach program for students to connect with the community around the university. Students visit a local school or community center once a week for the length of the semester to teach middle school-aged children how to build a LEGO Robot. The semester culminates in a showcase held at Northeastern University, where kids show off their hard work in front of parents, students, and partner organizations.

Typical engagement consists of a once a week visit to a local school, Boys and Girls Club, or community center to teach middle school aged children how to build a small Sumo or Lego Robot.

Roxbury Robotics is driven to expose local youth to basic engineering principles through 10 week robotics programs. It is the clubs goal to connect engineering students to the local under-served community and to encourage local students to pursue the sciences.
