Artificial intelligence (AI), artificial neural networks, biomedical research and application of AI in medicine, mathematical modeling and optimization, and computer simulation Special focus on the application of AI in medicine
About
Prof. Sergey Aityan received DSc in Mathematics and Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, PhD in Computer Science and PhD in Chemistry and Biophysics from Russian Academy of Sciences, and MBA from Lincoln University.
Prof. Aityan conducts multidisciplinary research including artificial intelligence (AI), artificial neural networks, biomedical research and application of AI in medicine, mathematical modeling and optimization, and computer simulation. He published over 170 papers, 7 books, and authored several patents.
Prof. Aityan teaches general AI, neural networks, data science, and software engineering. Having extensive academic and industrial experience, he leads the development of advanced AI-powered industrial and scientific applications. His teaching philosophy emphasizes learning fundamentals, being on the cutting edge of modern science and technology, and delivering advanced solutions that serve people.
Be careful, AI is a double-edged sword. Whether it helps or harms depends entirely on how we wield it.
Prof. Aityan hosts Multidisciplinary Round Table (MRT) and leads Archimedes Research Club.
