The REPRODUCE Laboratory
The REPRODUCE Laboratory seeks to reverse the human impact on Earth’s natural cycles related to water, carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus. We believe this simultaneously yields a more sustainable approach to Food, Energy, and Water systems and infuses traditional chemical engineering principles with a holistic approach to extraction and production.
Selected Research Projects
- Combined Nitrogen and Phosphorous Recovery via Electrochemical Technology Integration into Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants
- – Principal Investigator
- Electrochemical-Enabled Carbon Dioxide Mineralization of Natural Brines and Wastes to Enable Carbon-Negative Value-Added Products
- – co-Principal Investigator
