About

Mr. Manny Montrond is an accomplished Information Technology Leader and Adjunct Faculty at Northeastern University’s MGEN department with over 17 years of experience in the field. He has successfully led world-class IT systems that supported significant revenue growth and has a proven track record of driving business results and maximizing profitability through delivering exceptional product quality and service and managing people, technology, and processes.

Manny possesses a diverse set of skills, including data management, enterprise architecture, integration, leadership, project management, software development, big data, and analytics. He has led successful implementations of IoT systems, cloud-based big data NoSQL databases, financial analytical tools, and machine learning/artificial intelligence analytics models. His ability to set business and group goals and lead teams to achieve project goals and exceed expectations has been critical to his success.

Manny holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Manny enjoys teaching Data Management and Database Design (DAMG 6210) and finds the learning journey he goes through with students every semester to be incredibly rewarding. Northeastern University is lucky to have him share his 17+ years of experience with MGEN students.
