About

Mr. Shannon Pettiford, M.S., PMP, PMI-ACP, is an experienced professional specializing in program and project management, business process improvement, and operations management. He has managed global projects and programs in digital marketing, information technology, human resources, finance, and strategic initiatives throughout his career.

He is a PMI.org member and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications. East Tennessee State University awarded him a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and Northeastern University awarded him a master’s degree in project management with a concentration in program and portfolio management. His research interests include risk management, business process development, strategic initiatives, and business relationship management.

As a web developer, software programmer, systems analyst, and business analyst. His experience in cross-functional roles in Fortune 500 companies has given him keen insights and lessons learned in finance, information technology, marketing, and logistics. He is a Senior IT Program Manager at Boston Consulting Group, focusing on global office expansions, M&A, business acquisitions, and business engagement models. Mr. Pettiford has a successful track record in program and project management and specializes in organizational performance improvement, cost-cutting methodologies, and business transformation.

Mr. Pettiford also teaches project management graduate courses at the University of Kansas, and the Harvard Extension School.
