About

Cheng Zeng is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Roux Institute of Northeastern Unversity. His research here focuses on data-enabled science and engineering for additive manufacturing.

He obtained a PhD in Engineering from Brown University. He also holds a M.Sc. degree in Data Science and a M.Eng. degree in Materials Science and Engineering. His previous works span in many areas, including computational materials science, machine learning inter-atomic potentials, atomistic physical/mechanical models for rational catalyst design, high-throughput computing, corrosion and protection, and materials surface characterization.
