Paul Champion receives the Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Conference on Time Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy
The International Conference on Time Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy (TRVS) selected BioE Affiliate Faculty and Physics Professor Paul Champion as a recipient for its Lifetime Achievement Award for “Outstanding Contributions and World-Wide Recognition for Developing novel Time-Resolved Raman Spectroscopies to Measure Complex Phenomena in Biological Systems”.

MS in Cyber Physical Systems Student Gets Job Offers at Both Amazon and Nokia
Nitin Sunda, MS’21, cyber physical systems with the internet of things concentration, credits the skills that he learned in class with him landing a co-op at tech company Nokia. His program is at Northeastern’s Silicon Valley campus. Now he has full time job offers from Nokia and Amazon.

Experiential PhD Spotlight with Nishant Yadav
Nishant Yadav, PhD interdisciplinary engineering student, in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, participated in the Experiential PhD program. His research is in applying machine learning and AI to solving problems in climate and the environment. He joined CEE’s Sustainability and Data Sciences Lab at Northeastern under Professor Auroop Ganguly, and then worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, then NASA Ames Research Center, and is now starting work at Hitachi AI Labs.
