Goldwater Scholar Sets Sights on Medical and Doctoral Degrees
Giona Kleinberg, E’23, majoring in bioengineering and biochemistry with a minor in data science, is an experienced researcher with several publications and a prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship under his belt, all prior to earning his bachelor’s degree. His next goals: a medical degree and a PhD.

Schwarzman Scholarship and Named one of BostInno’s 25 Under 25.
Alex Marley, E’22, electrical engineering, was awarded the highly selective Schwarzman Scholarship and named one of BostInno’s 25 Under 25. Schwarzman Scholars supports up to 200 Scholars annually from the U.S., China, and around the world for a one-year master’s in global affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University.

WIoT Team Wins First Prize at IEEE Advanced Air Mobility – Concepts Innovation Challenge
A team of researchers with the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things (WIoT) consisting of computer engineering students Matteo Bordin, PhD’26, and Pietro Brach Del Prever, PhD’27, and led by ECE Research Assistant Professor Salvatore D’Oro, won first prize at the IEEE Advanced Air Mobility – Concepts Innovation Challenge.
