Ke (Chloe) Wen, E’22, chemical engineering and biochemistry, was selected for the Future Leaders in Chemical Engineering Symposium 2022 organized by North Carolina State University. This highly selective research symposium elects the finest undergraduate researchers of the graduating class in the United States to present their research.

NU Motorsports Wins OktaBAJAfest Competition
NU Motorsports, the Baja SAE Northeastern team, won the overall competition at OktoBAJAfest as well as placed first in Endurance (with amazing 15+ lap lead) and placed third in the Hill Climb, Acceleration, and Design categories with their new 2022 car.

Outstanding Paper Award at IEEE HPEC Conference
Computer engineering student Baolin Li, PhD’24, and ECE Associate Professor Devesh Tiwari received an outstanding paper award (top ~5%) from the IEEE HPEC conference for their paper “Benchmarking Resource Usage for Efficient Distributed Deep Learning.” Li was also nominated as one of four students selected by Northeastern University for the Google PhD Fellowship.
