Koppes and Oakes Selected as AIMBE Emerging Leaders
ChE Associate Professor Abigail Koppes and BioE Associate Professor Jessica Oakes were selected by the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) as two of nine Emerging Leaders in recognition of their distinguished achievements in medical and biological engineering. The goal of AIMBE’s Emerging Leaders Program is to increase AIMBE’s engagement with exceptional professionals who are underrepresented in medical and biological engineering (MBE), recognize outstanding rising leaders in MBE, and serve as a pathway for leaders to AIMBE’s College of Fellows.
