Luca Caracoglia’s Research on Artificial Intelligence for Tornado Engineering was featured by MathWorks
Recent research results by CEE Professor Luca Caracoglia and Dr. Viet Le (recently graduated from the CEE PhD program) were featured by MathWorks. This activity explores the use of Artificial Intelligence, in particular Artificial Neural Networks, for Performance-Based Tornado Engineering. This is a cutting-edge initiative for both the wind engineering and structural engineering disciplines.
The research was supported by a MathWorks Micro-grant, awarded in 2019 to the researchers.
