Prof. Koppes at AIChE WIC
The AIChE Women’s Initiative Committee (WIC) celebrated their 20th anniversary this year. To celebrate the milestone, they hosted a full day symposium at AIChE 2018 to highlight the significant contributions of women to the chemical engineering field. The symposium included of 20+ invited female speakers from diverse research backgrounds and affiliations, including ChE Assistant Professor Abby Koppes! Prof. Koppes presented on “Engineered Models of the Gut-Brain Axis”.
