Vargas Selected as Runner-Up in SB3C Student Paper Competition

Bioengineering graduate student Ana I. Vargas, PhD’24, was chosen as the runner-up in the Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering, & Biotransport Conference (SB3C) Student Paper Competition for the “Morphogenesis, Maternal/Abdominal Health” competition category. Her extended abstract entitled “Vascular Remodeling During Late-gestation Pregnancy: an In-vitro Assessment of the Murine Thoracic Aorta” was selected as one of the 36 finalists among more than 200 abstracts submitted to the PhD-level competition.
