About

Mohammad Dehghani is an Associate Teaching Professor of Mechanical and Industrial engineering at Northeastern University. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Management at Western New England University. His Ph.D. dissertation received the Best Ph.D. Paper Award at the 2015 Winter Simulation Conference. His research is mainly focused on developing and applying Reinforcement Learning (RL) frameworks to address different engineering applications. These applications range in manufacturing and scheduling, digital twin, UAV and vehicle routing, and healthcare operations.

In addition to his research efforts, Mohammad has offered/developed multiple courses for Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, and Data Analytics Engineering programs, and received the 2020 Fostering Engineering Innovation in Education Award.
