About

Kristina Hals has been a member of the Northeastern co-op community since 2019. She joined Northeastern after a career pivot from two decades in the public health community planning sector including engineering the homelessness response system nationwide, advising on HIV/AIDS continuum of care for vulnerable populations, and mentoring graduate students from Boston based higher education to learn and contribute in an experiential learning context to these public sectors. At Northeastern, Kristina supports diverse students and specializes in engaging employers in the community-based public health and healthcare administration sectors. Kristina has a Bachelor’s Degree from Hamilton College and a graduate degree in Community Development from Cornell University.
