Alison Nogueira has spent the majority of her career in cooperative education and has a passion for experiential education. She joined the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Co-op team in 2008 and is now the Director of Co-op. Prior to her current role, she was the Assistant Director of Employer Relationships in NU’s Office of Central Co-op, a Co-op Coordinator at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and also worked in elementary education. Alison has been involved with the Cooperative Education & Experiential Division of ASEE and served as the division’s Program Chair & Assistant Program Chair for the Conference for Industry & Education Collaboration in 2010 & 2011. She was awarded Co-op Coordinator of the Year by Northeastern’s College of Engineering in 2015. She obtained her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University and her Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Education from Wheelock College.
