Researching Data for Life-Cycle Assessments and Chemical Sustainability

CEE Associate Professor Matthew Eckelman and Abhijeet Parvatker, PhD’21, chemical engineering, collaborated on research about how the health care industry contributes to national and global emissions. This research later led Parvatker to pursue a consultant managing role at Sphera Solutions.

Dominic Pizzarella, E’25, chemical engineering and biochemistry, won the Sears B. Condit Award, which is awarded annually to one student from each of Northeastern’s undergraduate day colleges and is one of the highest honors that a junior or senior at Northeastern University can receive.

Ramezani’s Student Selected as NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Fellow

Henry Noyes, an undergraduate mathematics and physics student who works in ECE Assistant Professor Alireza Ramezani’s Silicon Synapse Lab, was selected as a NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Fellow for his project on “Autonomous Navigation and Multi-Modal Path Planning in Lunar Craters Using a Modular Snake-like Robot.”
