Personalizing a Path With Civil Engineering Co-ops and a Scholarship
Sebastian Lojano, E’24, civil engineering, had co-ops at Bond Brothers, DN Tanks, and Barletta Heavy Construction, which helped him determine his career plans. He was awarded a scholarship from The Moles, a national fraternal organization, for his demonstrated interest in the heavy construction industry.

NUASCE Recognized as an Outstanding Student Chapter
The Northeastern University chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) was nationally recognized on multiple fronts, including being named the 2024 ASCE Distinguished Chapter for Region 1, and a recipient of a 2024 Certificate of Commendation. It also had strong showings in both the Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge competitions.

Kritika Singh, E’20, bioengineering, has been awarded the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, which will enable her to pursue a doctor of medicine degree at Stanford University. She received the Rhodes Scholarship in 2020.

ChemE-Sports Team Triumphs in Global Competition
The Northeastern ChemE-Sports team competed against 29 teams across the globe April 6-7, 2024, making this their largest to date. They placed first in the initial and third rounds, and third place in the second round.
