MIE graduate student Muzaffer Yalgin Ozsecen is a top finalist for the 2010 CIMIT Prize for Primary Healthcare for his project “Synchronized Blood Pressure Measurement Device”. Winners will be announced in June.

Dogus Meric, a Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD student, won first place in the abstract competition held at the Northeast Geotechnical Graduate Research Symposium. His research is on remediation of contaminated sediments using a reactive mat.

Congratulations Joan Dela Cruz, BSME'13, who has won the Igor Sikorsky Scholarship which covers 50% of tuition for the first year. Recipients also participate in internships at Sikorsky Aircraft. Dela Cruz is only the second COE NUPRIME student to win this award.
