He was awarded a scholarship from The Moles, a national fraternal organization, for his demonstrated interest in the heavy construction industry.

As a student, he was a research assistant contributing to funded projects for international organizations such as the United Nations. He also had a co-op as a data analyst at Boston Children’s Hospital. Today, he is a senior manager of data science and analytics at Walmart.

Goldwater Scholar Shares Her Research Experiences

Kaitlyn Ramesh, E’25, bioengineering, has recently been awarded the prestigious 2024 Barry Goldwater Scholarship for her undergraduate research in the Lu Lab and the Prigozhin Lab. Aside from her research, she has been involved with groups such as the Women’s Research Engagement Network and received other awards such as the AJC Merit Research Scholarship.

CEE Associate Professor Matthew Eckelman and Abhijeet Parvatker, PhD’21, chemical engineering, collaborated on research about how the health care industry contributes to national and global emissions. This research later led Parvatker to pursue a consultant managing role at Sphera Solutions.
