COE NeuroArt Winner

Danielle Large is a third year BioE PhD student advised by ChemE Prof. Debra Auguste and collaborating with ChemE Prof. Abigail Koppes. The focus of her research project is to develop a targeted drug delivery system to minimize chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, which impacts the majority of individuals undergoing chemotherapeutic regimens.

MBF Bioscience recently selected Danielle as a NeuroArt winner. Her work was featured on the cover image of the November 2018 issue of the Journal of Neuroscience Research. The image displays a cluster of immunostained dorsal root ganglia (DRG) sensory neurons.  The image originated from an in vitro study examining the effect of a chemotherapeutic on DRG neurite outgrowth.
